Founded in 1992, DBM Venezuela introduced career transition and management services to Venezuela, and has established itself as the market leader in this field. DBM Venezuela forms part of a talent management consortium that provides assessment technology services, performance and development services, and management consultancy in business-organization-culture alignment.

Executive Director, DBM Venezuela
Maria is founder-partner of DBM Venezuela and has been its Executive Director since 1992. In 2004 she spearheaded the opening of DBM Panama in a joint venture with a Panamanian partner.  Perceiving a need in organizations for assessment technology and strategic development solutions, she founded Strategy Partners International to provide customized, innovative, research-based services in these areas.

In addition to her experience in managing professional service firms, she has more than 20 years' experience as a human resource development and career management consultant and in 2005 will receive her  professional certification as an executive coach from the International Coach Federation. She holds an M.Sc. degree from Nova University in Applied Behavioral Science and a B.A. degree from Barat College in History.
